Dr Inge Kreuser-Genis - Consultant Dermatologist
Dr Kreuser-Genis is a UK trained Consultant Dermatologist who practices in Reading and Oxford. She is fully trained, in both paediatric and adult dermatology, and is on the GMC specialist register.
Dr Kreuser-Genis undertook her undergraduate training and early career in South Africa, where she grew up. She immigrated to the UK in 2008, and her first post in Dermatology was as a junior doctor at Amersham Hospital. Following this, she worked as a Dermatology Registrar at Hillingdon Hospital in West London before doing her dermatology specialist training rotation in Glasgow.
She is passionate about helping and supporting women with Vulval Dermatology problems and during her specialist training in Glasgow, Dr Kreuser-Genis developed this interest further by presenting and publishing on complex dermatological cases at both a national and international level, and was instrumental in establishing a Scotland-wide complex Vulval Disease Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT). She was awarded the inaugural British Society for the Study of Vulval Disease (BSSVD) trainee fellowship which led to her working with and gaining international experience with Dr Libby Edwards, a preeminent US Vulval Dermatologist.
Dr Kreuser-Genis consults on all General Dermatology conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and acne, as well as treating benign and malignant skin lesions. In addition, she runs Paediatric and Vulval clinics with a focus on clear and helpful communication to women, children and parents about often very difficult skin conditions.
She lives in Oxfordshire with her husband and 2 children, and in her spare time loves nothing more than long country walks, occasional trail runs and is exploring wild swimming. She is also an amateur painter.
