She gained her dermatology experience at Cambridge University Hospitals, Oxford University Hospitals and the Royal Berkshire Hospital. She is on the GMC Specialist Register and her NHS clinics are based in Oxford and Henley.

Sanju completed her undergraduate training at the University of Oxford in 2012, undertaking her final year elective in the Johns Hopkins Department of Dermatology in Baltimore.  She then undertook an academic foundation programme in London which encompassed working on a large epidemiological study at the Royal Free Hospital which was presented and published internationally. After completing her core medical training in London, she undertook a year-long clinical fellowship in dermatology at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, prior to undertaking her dermatology training in the Thames Valley Deanery.

During her dermatology training, Sanju took a particular interest in teaching undergraduates by delivering dermatology seminars at Green Templeton College and teaching postgraduates at Oxford University Hospitals. She has been involved in contributing and editing medical and dermatological textbooks and is a tutor on the Postgraduate Diploma of Dermatology at the University of South Wales. Sanju was also the UK representative on the Residents’ Board of the European Journal of Dermatology between 2018 and 2020, regularly publishing and reviewing dermatology articles in this role. Upon completion of her training, she secured her consultant post based at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford but also enjoys working at Townlands Hospital in Henley-on-Thames, once a week.

Outside of work, Sanju has a passion for music and cooking. She also enjoys staying fit and active and loves to walk, dance and take HIIT classes.
